Disable Help Key

Version 1.1 (2014-12-04)
By Adam Bjornson (bitfume.com)

Disables the Help (or Insert) key on Intel Macs. This prevents accidental activation of a Help window when reaching for the Backspace key. No complex key remapping required.

Double-click the app to launch it in the background. The Help key is then disabled until the next login. To manually quit the app, use Activity Monitor to close the associated process. To have the app launch at login, place it into your Login Items via System Preferences > Users and Groups.

The source code is included in REALBasic / Real Studio / Xojo format. You'll need REALbasic 2007 or higher along with the Monkeybread plugin suite to compile the code.
